From gas line bills to electricity bills, a lot of UPI apps allow you to set autopay for credit card bills, insurance bills and TV cable bills. UPI apps have made life easier by allowing online payment of FASTag recharge for our vehicles as well.
- UPI Lite – UPI Lite has taken the online payment UPI experience to the next level. It is a feature that allows you to make a payment without even the need to type the UPI pin, making the payment process seamless and lightning-fast. However, you can make only low-value payments using this feature, usually up to ₹500 at one time. It uses a digital wallet feature to enable this service.
- Multiple Bank Accounts – Most people have at least one bank account linked to their UPI app because they might not be aware that you can add multiple bank accounts to just one app. Yes, you don’t need two different UPI apps for two different bank accounts. You can even transfer money from one bank account of yours to another using the self-transfer feature!
- Credit Score – UPI and credit scores? We know that they sound like they might not belong together but they do. A lot of UPI apps will show you your credit score for free so that you can always be informed about your credit health and make decisions accordingly. You will have to add your basic details like your full name according to your government identity card and other details that the app might ask for verification.
